Shilling

Pattern (1927)

In 1988 Spink Australia auctioned off a Florin and Shilling pair featuring the obverse of Parliament house florin and 'MODEL' on the reverse. These were most likely produced to gain royal approval for the new portrait of George V's . Another known pair is in the Royal Mint collection in Wales (Renniks, 2007).
