1860/59 Overdate Half Sovereign

The 1860/59 half sovereign is a better known overdate, much scarcer than the 1859/8 (Learn more about the 1859/8 Overdate Half Sovereign), but due to the rarity of the host coin, the 1860 causes many collectors to overlook it as an 1860 (Learn more about the 1860 Half Sovereign) and as a result, rarely sells for a premium over the 1860.
