David from Caulfield, VIC subscribed to the Blue Sheet in July 2011 in order to value some coins he inherited as a child. His collection contained a Parliament House florin which he had previously been offered $50 for by a local dealer. After reading about his coin on the Blue Sheet, he was able to identify it as a rare proof strike which was in fact worth $50,000! Thanks to the Blue Sheet he was able to offer the coin on eBay with a healthy reserve and an informed description.

Herman from Klemzig, SA found an old box of Australian pennies and half pennies under his home. Using the Blue Sheet as his reference, he searched through the hoard for valuable dates. Among these he found a better grade 1925 penny and several other valuable coins including 1946 pennies. The value of his discovery was well over $1,000 and thanks to the Blue Sheet he was able to get a fair price from a local dealer.
